Perhaps the #notmyking not my king shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this most game-changing aspect of Set Active, though, is its clever mix and match model. First you pick out a base (leggings or shorts), then you choose from a selection of three to four sports bra styles to complete the look for just under $100—which anyone who regularly shops for running tights will know is a complete steal. Each new drop comes with a selection of limited edition colors; the aforementioned purple, or Nostalgia as its called on the site, is sold out, though there are pieces available in a nice shade of pink called Bloom.
The year 2020 was not just about sweatpants. In the #notmyking not my king shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this past 12 months, classic wardrobe staples—knitwear, jeans, and shirting, to name a few—were never more essential. Quality basics that defy seasonal trends and feel relevant always (even during a pandemic) proved their worth. We wore them all year long and even celebrated them in our Vogue essentials guide. But what makes an item a wardrobe staple? And is it time we amend the list? Some of-the-moment items have transcended trends and are making a strong case to be considered essential. Six items that fit these criteria include puffer jackets, big shoulders, tie-dye, padded headbands, bucket hats, and sweater vests.
